Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Mud Logger / Data Engineer to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for real-time monitoring of drilling operations, data collection, geological evaluation, and ensuring the technical integrity of mud logging sensors and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive mud logging operations.
  • Manage, calibrate, and maintain mud logging sensors and equipment; troubleshoot and repair hardware issues.
  • Provide accurate geological and drilling descriptions.
  • Monitor drilling operations and related services.
  • Collect, process, and analyze drilling and geological data.
  • Maintain an active presence on-site for field supervision.
  • Prepare detailed daily technical reports.
  • Ensure strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols.
  • Provide technical support to team members.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in mud logging.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of petroleum engineering and drilling operations.
  • Proficiency in mud logging units and sensor technologies.
  • High analytical skills and ability to write professional technical reports.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and general computer hardware/software troubleshooting.
  • Language: Proficiency in English.
